DJ Defective I first discovered hardcore when I was 10 years on a cd called Sounds Of The Detonator where I heard a set by dj Sy and instantly fell in love with this genre of music. I tried to find out more about this genre of music by buying the bonkers cds and other complations it was this that made me decide I wanted to have a go at mixing hardcore. At 13 years old I bought myself a set of belt driven kams & a very old 2 channel mixer I also bought a few vinyl tunes that I was very unsure about but I thought I would give it a go. From then on I tried to teach myself how to mix but I just could not get the hang of it so I thought maybe it was not for me. I sold my decks and decided to leave it for a while. A few years down the line when I was 16 I started to mix on the pc using a program called tracktor studio where I finaly picked up the basics and started to get more of a feel for hardcore. I was then helped by friends where they directed me to buy better music from sites online such as imodownload.com & trackitdown.net. I then purchased a set of pioneer cdj 200s and started to do live shows on the internet and as the years have progressed I bought myself some pioneer cdj 400s and play out @ events such as future sounds & new demension. So why dont you tune into my show which is on every Sunday from 1-2 pm and pop into the chat room and say hello to the Kraftyradio crew.
